Michael O’Grady

Michael is the managing partner of the firm with more than 20 years of credit union experience in both the industrial and co-operative sectors with key emphasis on financial, regulatory, operational and strategic management. Michael is one of those rare people who can say that he is truly a credit union specialist and mean it. He has extensive knowledge on the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry and has a demonstrated talent to bring people together to create the ideal environment for innovation and collaboration. He is highly respected both within the credit union and regulatory fields, and because of his deep knowledge of the sector, Michael has become a trusted advisor to credit unions across the country. Michael is a member of Certified Public Accountants Ireland and completed his undergraduate studies at GMIT and UCD. Michael is also a member of Compliance Officers Ireland, a certified trainer with the CUcpd training platform, a past member of the ACOI Credit Union Compliance Committee and a speaker at different credit union industry conferences.

Catherine Egan

Catherine manages our credit union compliance department. She provides regulatory reporting, compliance and consulting service engagements. Catherine has 30 years of experience serving credit unions and the credit union industry. Her understanding of credit union operations, process improvement and AML frameworks brings measurable value to the clients she serves as compliance manager within the firm.

Catherine holds a Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Audit & Compliance from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Professional Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention from University College Dublin.

Conor Fennelly

For more than 10 years, Conor has provided credit union internal auditing services. His responsibilities include the planning, coordination and supervision of all engagements to ensure professional standards, regulatory requirements and client expectations are met. Throughout his career, he has supervised and performed numerous credit union audits and has also worked on a number of forensic engagements. This experience has provided Conor with a unique perspective to auditing credit unions and assisting management teams in the development of meaningful internal control recommendations to mitigate fraud risks. Conor is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Breeda Fordham

Breeda is the practice’s client manager and has over 20 years of managerial experience in both the financial and FMCG sectors. Collaborating with the firm’s professionals, Breeda helps develop a solution of services to ensure that clients’ needs are met. A graduate of Letterkenny IT with a Business Diploma, Breeda also achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Portobello College, Dublin. Breeda is a past board member of Kilcolgan Educate Together.
